Biography

I’m Najla, a calligrapher based in Boise, Idaho.

I’m drawn to the intricate lettering and imaginative details of medieval manuscripts, and I love bringing that sense of wonder and whimsy to my own work.

I specialize in medieval blackletter scripts, particularly Textura.

I love connecting with people and hearing their stories. If you have a piece in mind, a question, or simply want to say hello, please reach out!
